Last March 17, the Office québécois de la langue française awarded EBI Electric at the Soirée des Mérites et des prix Francopub held at the Montreal Museum of Fine Arts in Montreal. EBI Electric earned the Mérite du français in the “travail et commerce” category.
EBI Electric gives an important place to French in its different publications, such as its Web site and it is with such vision that our organization from Saint-Georges created it.
Since English terms are omnipresent in the field of industrial electrical engineering where laws of physics are applied to those of electricity, that decision from EBI was a bit against the tide.
Indeed, finding the right terms and equivalent technical expressions could not be done at lightning speed!
Online since September 2015, the Web site www.ebielectric.com presents texts that are simple and concise to its clients, partners and visitors about electrical products and services.
